Plastic Bears

So thoroughly concrete
Set in hearts of Appalachian dwellers
Pour strychnine in open wounds
Lay life on line for Jesus
Read Mark 16 15th verse
Satisfy serpent handlers
Whom shall get bitten
Body swells black & blue
Family places Bible on balloon belly
Poison strong enough to kill
20 men run through faithful veins
Prayers upon the man with 25 copper heads
"And if they drank any deadly thing
They shall lay hands on the sick
And they shall recover"

Fox Blood

Like a straight razor to a man's beard
The wise sayings of Sam Yorkdale's Oak Tree
Was cut from the roots sawed in half
And every little thing that made it unique was gone
Now a carbon copy of what was thought of as happy
"Its leaves don't shine no mo"
"You took its gold soaked wood from me"
Said Sam Yorkdale
Golden Oak was nothing but a house for fools
Like a slave it was bought for rich
And treated like human shit
Cocaine powdered the air
Where flies & squirrels rest
Dogs piss at the feet of a God
While pages turn in history
Like an apple that never falls too far
From the father tree
I wish I'd have seen Sam Yorkdale
The scent of man's want
Like a hungry wealthy bastard
The scent of man's need
Like a widow at her partner's knees

A Sea Of Love

Bending at rainbows arc;
Laid son of grand king
A sea of love glows in the dark

Home sits a midst of bark;
With words to happily sing
A sea of love glows in the dark

Beautiful ones lie stark;
Laid son of grand king
Found the lines to play my part

Bending at rainbows arc;
We wait for a ring
A sea of love glows in the dark

Fell in love, lights the dark;
The right words to sing
Found the lines to play my part

Beautiful ones lie stark;
Pure love, I'll bring
Found the lines to play my part
A sea of love glows in the dark

Lucky Number Seven Never Had So Many Curves

She put on a red dress
Covered in diamonds
For the night ready to impress
Connect the dots on her old plots
Playing the same hand
(She just can't win)
It's time for a different deck of plans

(One she doesn't understand)

I see the way you keep
All the secrets from me
I wanna know
Can you save me the last dance

Open up don't repress it
I know it's hard
But don't let it get to you
Don't show me
don't show
Your "true blue"

Her entrance was less than grand
When heads turning back
Wasn't the original plan
Electric voltage wrapped
Around her lips red running down
Because it doesn't stick
Oh no oh no!
It's been done before

Condemned

In hell you are me looking in
Watching the consumption of
Those in the Devil's den
Eyes without tears
Minds with no fear
Combust in searing fleshtone
A mockery of the blessed
Merit within woes of
The unholy prototype
Bind the life in love and hate
The bodies of those engulfed
By Hell's Gates
