Grandiose

A thorne without a stem
A rose without petals
Mass replacing muscle in the calves of dishonor
Drugs injected into adolescent dreams
Patience given to color-blind bulls
But everyone’s still waving red flags
Not knowing it means surrender
Black backs & blue eyes unmatched
By steps of the paralyzed
Like the memorized address of a house
That’s not a home.

Love it!! Don't know what it means, but it's beautifully written. In the realm of nonsensical type poetry this is masterful. I am truly your fan anthony.

I am adrift in your words of cold reality.
Disturbing and good. Well done.

interesting title. I think it helps to focus the poem, although I still like the way you give the words a bit of camoflage...
