The Life (Something Other Than)

Apples and mangoes
Draw out the human in me
Also the human in you
Like juice dribbling off your bottom lip
Vernacular disregarded
My native tongue
Your americana gaped teeth
White as the lies
Rich kids tell after they realize
Santa was only around to
Suffice for father's absence...

This piece captures from the onset and takes one in a direction that literally makes you sit back. I appreciate your expression. Send peace ~ Rose
