He drinks the scenery
While his eyes told a beautiful story
A vision of architecture
Erecting the hump of a camel
Throne to the protector
Destination unknown
The ardors of destined truth
Walking with the potency and nerve
To become a verb
A figment in desert sand
Of golden rivers in which he swam

Your last four lines finish with a flourishing melody; preceded by strong innuendo and details the reader can easily see reflected in those magical eyes... It seems to me, A, that each time I read your work, I can't peg a definitive style. Mad respect for that.
wow, thank you so much Adam.. I appreciate that.
become a verb...very nice anthony...i agree you end this very nicely and in few words capture much...
Excellent word choice throughout. A character, a metaphor and always a verb. Active. Good work, Anthony.
hi, Anthony
it's been awhile thank you for your visit and comment
I agree that these four lines finish it beautifully
Walking with the potency and nerve
To become a verb
A figment in desert sand
Of golden rivers in which he swam
love it all!
thank you
I like the idea of a figment of golden rivers. I just like rivers too. :)
Solid, effective verses.
