We pray with hands 
in pistol formation; 
this is the fading, 
of wisdom.

Oh, Anthony! A gem! Man, you wrote a one stanza poem that is so potent, I just want to scream. You take the metaphor of praying and link it to its antithesis--a gun. Powerful Anthony, powerful. You moved me with this one young poet.
