Death Zone

The scent of quarantine is lifted
Still,
I abstain from witnessing
The chilling images of sulfur drops
On linoleum boxed-tops-heart-stops
Sat atop the pearly white floors

Excellent Anthony; capture the chilling quality at its essence ..tragedy implied in every syllable.

Great flow... I found your use of language to be quite unique and what a great line - “On linoleum boxed-tops-heart-stops” very poignant!

also liked the contrast between "sulfur drops" and "pearly white floors"

So little, but so much from it. Fearfully well-executed.

Very dense language. I like the hard syllables that pile up on top of each other.
