From the fires that killed Coretta
To the Remington That killed King
The dragon has come
Gentleman The dragon has come
The chant of George Jackson's political death
Fire breathed bullets leave a paper trail
Red white & blue dollar bills
Eject from the mouth of
The Divine Ruler of The Ocean
Into the hands That beat Emmett Till
Into the hands of assassins
Into the same bullets that took
Liuzzo & X
Like buckshots the never ending
Roots expand sawed off at the CORE
Tied around the necks of
Shwerner
Goodman
Chaney Steers
Doresy
Scott
Nelson
Shipp
Barksdale
Smith
Holbert

I love how you use colour in your poetry, so creative :)
nice. its great to see you man....to see you writing again....still got the power....tying the imagery to the names...and hte use of color...this is tight...
Incredible Anthony. You again inspire me with your brilliance.
Nice write and nice to see you again!
This was a powerful and audacious piece of writing. Liked the staggered names at the end - suggests bloody lynchings. Inspired, my friend.
whassup brother...was glad to see this on hte list tonight...smiles...
Your words awe me with their power. I too like your use of color to make your points.
It does my heart good to seeing you writing and engaging and potent as ever. Rending and I was sick this morning when they reemphasized that in polls white men are still overwhelmingly for Romney. Social justice issues are as pertinent as ever. Your work always inspires me to action, that's a rare gift.
This was an amazing read. great talent you have friend
The dragon has come, yes.... your words are always filled with such truth and power. So glad to see you here again.
Scary but honest.. the words we never like to hear in one sentence. well one can't say they weren't warned.
Anthony!!!! I wanted to hear this in a deep-toned voice set to bass-heavy music. Wait a minute... I DID! Great write.
This makes me feel sick and angry...in a good way. Powerful write.
This begs to be heard.
A gritty but necessary commemoration of sacrifice. Now more than ever, we need to remember history, all of it.

waaaaaaaaaasssssssssuuuuup! Back with a vengeance . . .
And the new look! Sleek too! And hitting the spark as ever . . . Anonymous? Never! Hearing you loud and clear
and all the better for it . . . Taking names - holding up a mirror: peace
powerful as always...good to see you write again sir
Very intriguing, but I'd need a little explanation to assist my understanding.
Powerful and your formatting/color enhancements add impact.
this is so powerful - I'd love to read more poetry by you :-)
